The Holland Christian Maroons continued
their season on Tuesday night against the Grand Rapids Christian
Eagles. After the Eagles put up three goals, Mitch DePree found
fellow striker Bryce Eggers, who put the Maroons on the board. Two
minutes later, Grand Rapids Christian added another goal, sending the
Eagles into halftime with the 4-1 lead.
Grand Rapids Christian capped the
scoring with two goals in the first few minutes of the second half.
Holland Christian took a total of nine shots on goal, but failed to
find the back of the net enough to gain sufficient momentum. Holland
Christian (4-1-1) will play at Thornapple-Kellogg on Thursday.
