Holland Christian played in a
conference jamboree on Thursday afternoon at Crestview golf course.
Abby Karsten shot a 45 to lead the Maroons. Brittney Statema backed
up Abby with a 47. Lydia Wiersema earned a score of 51 and Ali Swets
scored a 55. Overall, the Maroons played a decent match. However a
few missed putts ended up costing them. Holland Christian finished in
third place, giving them a total conference score of 27, well ahead
of each school in the conference. Holland Christian will participate
in the Macatawa Legends Invite on Friday morning. The Maroons will
play in the final conference jamboree on Tuesday at Holland.
