Holland Christian participated in
another conference jamboree on Tuesday afternoon at Byron Center.
Brittney Statema shot a 47, the best score of anyone in the jamboree.
Abby Karsten followed Brittney with a 50. Lydia Wiersema's score of
51 kept the Maroons' score low enough to finish in first place for
the third time in a row. Ali Swets, Brooke Statema, and Jocelyn
Kacekowski rounded out the scoring to give the Maroons a final score
of 206. Byron Center's knowledge of their home course earned them a
second place finish with 216. Byron Center is currently tied with
Unity Christian for second place in the conference with 11 points.
The Maroons sit atop the conference with the maximum score of 18.
Holland Christian will play at Thornapple-Kellogg on Friday,
September 19.
