It
was a great afternoon for golf at Winding Creek on Monday as Holland
Christian hosted West Ottawa. Lydia Wiersema's six pars earned her a
score of 40, the best round of the season. Brittney Statema also set
a personal best with 45. Abby Karsten shot a 49. Ali Swets earned a
52, including a birdie on hole 9 after sinking a 20-foot putt.
Collectively, Holland Christian finished with an impressive 186. West
Ottawa unfortunately came out on top with a 171. The Maroons will be
at Railside golf course on Tuesday, September 16, as they take on
Byron Center.
