Holland Christian raced against
Hamilton on Wednesday afternoon. Nathan Schloff, Luke Peterson, and
Nate Mulder earned the second, third, and fourth best times of either
team. Schloff ran an 18:04, Peterson ran an 18:23, and Mulder
finished with an 18:27. Jacob Bol also had a great race for the
Maroons, as he finished with a 20:25. The boys ended up falling short
of the victory by three points.
Kayla Windemuller and Maria Kuiper
both finished in the 21st minute to earn the second and
third best times, respectively. Despite the tough course, the girls
finished with above-average times. The girls lost 31-24.
The cross country team will take on
Holland on October 1.
