Holland
Christian hosted Spring Lake on Tuesday for the first game of the
conference tournament. Goals from Justin Dykgraaf, Jake Kalkman, and
Joe Spoelhof gave the Maroons a 3-0 lead after the first quarter. Joe
Spoelhof scored both goals for Holland Christian in the second
quarter, and the Maroons took a 5-1 lead into halftime
Justin
Dykgraaf made the score 6-1 by scoring the lone goal of the third
quarter. Each team scored a goal in the fourth quarter an Holland
Christian took home the 7-2 victory. The Maroons' next round of this
tournament will be on Thursday and will play against Caledonia.
