Holland
Christian welcomed Caledonia to the turf on Thursday night. Justin
Dykgraaf, Isaac Nelson, and Jake Kalkman all scored for the Maroons
in the opening quarter, giving them a 3-0 lead.
Luke
Harbottle, Allyn Anthony, Jake Kalkman, and Jon Nykamp all found the
back of the net in the second quarter for the Maroons.
Justin
Dykgraaf and Joe Spoelhof each scored two goals in the third quarter.
The Holland Christian defense, led by goalie Brad Houskamp, held
Caledonia scoreless through three quarters.
Holland
Christian was outscored 4-0 in the fourth quarter, but ended up
taking home the secure 11-4 victory.
Justin
Dykgraaf led the Maroons with three goals. Jon Nykamp also had an
amazing game, as he scored a goal and assisted five more.
Holland
Christian's next game will be held on the east side of the state at
Clarkston High School on Saturday, May 3.
