On Wednesday, Holland Christian split a doubleheader with the Holland Dutch. On Thursday, the Maroons faced against the Dutch for a third time. In the first inning, David Williams hit a triple to deep centerfield that scored Brandon Roon from second base. In the next inning, Nick Hill cleared the bases with a 2 RBI triple to deep centerfield as well. The Maroons added two runs in the third inning. One run scored off of a Dan Lynch sacrifice fly, the other scored when Josh York grounded out and the run came in from third. Holland Christian was winning 5-1 after three innings. In the fourth inning, Mike Mokma crushed a ball 330 feet to left field, soaring over the fence for a two run home run. Due to the wet conditions, the game ended after five innings. Holland Christian finished the game on top 7-1.
Mike Mokma and Nick Hill each finished with 2 RBIs. Mokma also earned himself the victory on the mound today, striking out five batters in four solid innings.

Holland Christian will travel to Cedar Springs on Saturday for a doubleheader.
