Holland
Christian played against West Catholic in the regional semifinals on
Monday night.
Tyler
Hyma and Matt Maas had two three-pointers apiece as the Maroons led
16-5 after the first quarter.
Kyle
Wassink came off the bench for four points in the second quarter.
Maas
finished the first half with eight points and eight rebounds as
Holland Christian took a 22-11 lead into halftime.
Tyler
Hyma hit two more three-pointers in the third quarter as the Maroons
extended their lead to 35-21.
Holland
Christian earned the majority of its fourth quarter points from the
charity stripe, where the team shoots a collective 71% on the season.
Holland
Christian ended up on top by a score of 49-32. Matt Maas finished
with a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Tyler Hyma had
12 points.
The
Maroons take a 10-game win streak into the Regional final game
against Spring Lake at Hamilton High School.
