Holland Christian continued their season on Wednesday night in
Byron Center, in search of their 5th consecutive victory.
The Maroons jumped out to a 14-12 lead after the first quarter.
Holland Christian scored a collective 16 points in the second quarter
giving them a 30-24 lead going into halftime. The Maroons continued
to dominate in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 19-16 in the
third quarter, making the score 49-40 going into the fourth quarter.
Holland Christian's 22 fourth quarter points sealed the 71-53
victory. Kyle Steigenga had a game-leading 19 points. Nathan Walters
scored 13, and Justin Dykgraaf contributed 12. Holland Christian's
5-game win streak gives them an 8-2 record on the season. The next
game will be played at Unity Christian High School on January 31.
