Holland
Christian played Forest Hills Eastern on Tuesday. Ty Steggerda, Joe
Spoelhof, and Allyn Anthony all scored for the Maroons in the first
quarter. Justin Dykgraaf scored back-to-back goals in the second
quarter, followed by another goal from Joe Spoelhof. Brad Houskamp
and the Holland Christian defense held Forest Hills Eastern to one
goal in the first half, and the Maroons took a 6-1 lead into
halftime.
Each
team scored three goals in the third quarter. Two goals came from Joe
Spoelhof and the other came from Jon Nykamp. Jake Kalkman scored the
lone goal for the Maroons in the fourth quarter. Forest Hills Eastern
outscored the Maroons 2-1 in that quarter, but Holland Christian held
on for the 10-6 victory. Joe Spoelhof led the Maroons with four goals
and two assists.

Christian will host Spring Lake on Tuesday, April 29, at 7:15.
