After coming up just short the day
before, the girls returned to the course as they participated in the
Unity Green Jamboree. Bre Luurtsema set a team record with (6) 1
putts, and she finished with a total of 13 putts on the day as she
shot a 45 overall. Sarah Vroon also shot a 45 on the day as she had
her best outing of the year. Candace Hoitenga also had a one of the
best outings of her year as she finished with a 46 on the day.
Hoitenga also set a record today, as she sank the longest putt of the
year, as she made it from 40 feet away! Kate Ellens also kept her
score under 50, which sealed the win for Holland Christian. The
Maroons will be back in action on Thursday, as they welcome the Chix
of Zeeland East at 3:30
