The Maroons traveled to the home of the
West Ottawa Panthers tonight, in what was sure to be a great matchup.
The game was full decent opportunities on both sides of the field,
however neither team was able to put a shot in the back of the net.
Goalie Cody VanderLaan led the Maroons to their 4th
consecutive shutout, and Holland Christian's 8th of the
season. “Defensively, we did a nice job of limiting their quality
opportunities, we just need to continue to battle and get better.”
said Coach DeBoer following the 0-0 tie. Holland Christian will
return home on Monday, September 16 as they host the Holland Dutch.
