Holland
Christian hosted Hamilton on Wednesday night in the first conference
game. After a scoreless first half, Sadie Vanderlee scored off a
cross from Bekah Maguire to put the Maroons up 1-0. Laura VanPutten
assisted Tori Lenters for the second goal of the game.
“We
had a great second half. Our team did a nice job of attacking and
pressuring Hamilton in their defensive half” commented Coach Slenk
on his team's 2-0 victory.
The
Maroons will welcome the West Ottawa Panthers to the turf on Friday
night at 7:15.
