The Maroons returned to the turf on
Friday night to host Haslett, one of the top teams in the state.
Holland Christian took a lot of shots in the first half, but failed
to find the back of the net. Haslett's 7 goals gave them a 7-0 lead
at halftime.
The Maroons were able to score three
times in the second half, but failed to overcome the deficit. Haslett
finished with the 15-3 victory, handing the Maroons their first loss
of the season. Jake Kalkman scored one goal, and Justin Dykgraaf
scored two. Holland Christian will look to pick up the pieces as they
travel to Lowell on Tuesday, April 1.
