The
Maroons played against Zeeland West on Wednesday night. They played
against the wind in the scoreless first half. Becka Maguire broke the
ice with a goal with just under 19 minutes to play in regulation.
Alexi Zastrow's throw in was headed by Abby Koops in Maguire's
direction before she finished it. Tessa VandeWalker added the second
goal on a lefty shot in front of the goal.
Holland
Christian improves to 5-3-1 overall, 4-1 OK Green with tonight's
conference victory. The team will be in action on Friday, May 1 at
Grand Rapids Christian.
