2014 Football October 10 vs. Byron Center

Holland Christian continued their season on Friday night against their conference rivals from Byron Center. The Bulldogs scored four touchdowns over the course of the first quarter, giving them a commanding 27-0 lead after the first quarter. They extended their lead to 34-0 after another touchdown drive early in the second quarter. Holland Christian countered that touchdown with a touchdown of their own: Jared Stygstra found Alex Bosch from 33 yards out, making the score 34-7 at halftime.

 Byron Center added two more touchdowns over the course of the second half. Jared Stygstra scrambled for a 15 yard rushing touchdown with two minutes remaining in the game. Byron Center finished the game on top 48-14. Holland Christian's record currently sits at 3-4 overall; 2-1 Conference. The Maroons will play their last home game of the season against Unity Christian on October 17.
