Holland
Christian began their postseason on Friday night in Coopersville. The
Maroons began the day with a 206.8 first round score. The girls
earned themselves a great score of 190.38 in the second round. And in
the third and final round, they scored 285.1, giving them a total of
682.28. That score would earn the Maroons fourth place at Districts, which would be just enough to move on to
Regionals. Coming in third place was Tri-County, second was Catholic
Central, and earning first place was Comstock Park. Coach Gernaat
commented on her team's District performance, “We are very much
looking forward to competing at the Regional competition! We're gonna
work hard this next week at practice and hopefully compete at our
full potential next Saturday! We've got nothing to lose, so we plan
on leaving it all on the mat!” Holland Christian will be competing
at Regionals on Saturday, February 22, which will take place at
Rockford.
