After coming off of
three near-perfect performances, the Maroons looked to continue that
winning streak as they traveled to Grand Rapids Christian. Overall,
Holland Christian had full command over Grand Rapids Christian over
the course of the entire match. After 1st singles Claire
Spoelhof suffered a loss, Holland Christian got right back on their
feet to win the next three singles match-ups. Playing amazing was
freshman Terin Everse (3rd singles), who won both of her
sets 6-0. This was Terin's 2nd consecutive game where she
won both sets 6-0. The doubles also played valiantly in their
matches. The first three doubles all won their match-ups in two sets.
The doubles only suffered one loss, as 4th doubles of Lisa
Busscher and Anna Bosgraaf fell just short of the win. In the end,
the Maroons pulled off the win, as they won 6-2. The Maroons next
matchup will be on Wednesday, May 1, as they face the Unity Crusaders.
