The Maroons traveled to Byron Center on
Wednesday, to participate in the Regional tournament. Despite the
stiff competition, the Maroons were able to score well. Bre Luurtsema
lead the Maroons with a score of 98. Lydia Wiersema shot a 101 on the
day. Nola Tolsma, Sarah Vroon, and Candace Hoitenga rounded out the
scoring with 106 apiece. In the end, the Maroons finished in 6th
place out of a total of 13 teams. South Christian finished in first
place, followed by Lakewood in 2nd, and Grand Rapids
Christian in 3rd place. With this, Holland Christian's
stellar season came to a finish. Seniors Nola Tolsma, Kate Ellens,
Candace Hoitenga, Sarah Vroon, and Bre Luurtsema all concluded their
careers at Holland Christian with an amazing season!
